A New post for a New Year

Took a bit of a break, but back with some special items to show off.

JewelRenee is an artist I met on the Regretsy Forums and I was immediately drawn to her illustrations.

Honestly, she is amazing! I just wish I had more money and a Landlord who allowed me to put pictures up!! As it is, I have her Hellephants and Balloon Fish on my desk and on my Photo Gallery Sideboard. Now, I will soon have this gorgeous Hairy Frog Fish!! Not only is this my favorite fish, this particular Hairy Frog Fish is special to me as well. This artist drew this just for me!!

Oh No! Our First Bad Seller Review :(

I'm sad to say, we have our first Bad Seller Review :(

I know, I was hoping it wouldn't happen either!!

Our Very First Post on this blog was about The Little Mermaid. We showed a gorgeous handbag by

NinasCustomDesigns

that we were very interested in for my daughters 6th birthday. We were also very interested in one of her Little Mermaid Dresses.

Well, we ordered a dress and handbag for Christmas.

Baaaaaaaad idea sadly!!

The handbag is gorgeous - very well made, handle shorter than pictured, but *meh* can live with that.

Dress was AWFUL!!

Our Advice here at DragonMumma's Envy - AVOID!!

Sewing is abysmal. Trim is replaced with whatever the seller thinks works - without any consultation. Trim is missing - apparently "forgotten". Seller then ignores any other contact she doesn't like. We requested a partial refund (we are not sending the dress back a week before Christmas and at Aussie Post Prices for her to not do what we paid for originally - seller accepted that she had messed up, but was only willing to change a few items and not to actually do what we had originally paid for) but seller then chose to ignore us.

So, might want to avoid this particular seller. What a pity.

lol, we have been totally slack in updating this blog - when we discovered Treasuries on Etsy, well...suffice to say, they are easier by FAR than this blog!! But I haven't neglected this blog altogether, I have had items sitting in my favorites bar just waiting for their chance!!
